An AC tune-up at Total Comfort includes the following services:

• Adjusting and cleaning the blower components.
• Inspecting and cleaning the condensate drainage system including the drip pan and drain line.
• Inspecting and cleaning coils, including the outdoor condenser coil and indoor evaporator coil.
• Checking for blockages in the indoor evaporator coils and applying self-rinsing cleaners.
• Checking electrical connections and tightening as needed—making sure that all physical connections are secure.
• Inspecting the existing air filter and changing it if necessary.
• Checking the airflow and refrigerant levels for leaks.
• Look for unusual markings, color, or bulging around the run capacitor.
• Measuring airflow temperatures and pressure—checking and cleaning the thermostat.
• Inspecting capacitor condition and testing compressor contacts.
• Taking voltage and amperage readings of motors and also lubricating blower motor bearings if needed.
