In 2002, Home Depot partnered with Trane and Total Comfort. Total Comfort started with one Home Depot store in Plymouth, MN, and then shared this store with two other HVAC contractors. Total Comfort did well at the Plymouth store, and eventually Home Depot made Total Comfort the exclusive contractor. Total Comfort was then awarded 2 more Home Depot stores. Then 10 stores. Currently Total Comfort serves Home Depot stores in Minnesota.
